Section 25292 - Applications for licenses; form of

Any person desiring to secure such license shall make application to the superintendent of police or the chief of police of the proper city or township upon forms prescribed and furnished by such superintendent of police or chief of police, which said forms shall be of such nature and contents as to disclose the necessary information to enable such superintendent or chief of police to determine as to the moral character and general fitness for engaging in such occupation; and it shall be the duty of such superintendent or chief of police to make diligent and careful inquiry to determine whether or not said applicant is of good character and general fitness to engage in such occupation.
