Section 25293 - Moral character and fitness of applicants

No person shall be licensed to engage in such business unless he shows, to the satisfaction of the superintendent of police or the chief of police of such city or township that he is of good moral character and general fitness to engage in such occupation, and that he has not been convicted of any felony at all or of any misdemeanor of such nature and character as to render him unfit to engage in such occupation.
