Section 25291 - Licenses required for operation

No person shall engage in the business of driving a taxicab or other passenger motor vehicle for hire in any city of the second class or in any township of the first class without first having secured from the superintendent of police or the chief of police of said city or township a license so to do if in the case of a township of the first class the principal place of business of the taxicab company is located therein.
