Section 9-8-10 - [Effective 7/1/2024] Bureaus-chiefs

The secretary shall establish within each division such bureaus as the secretary deems necessary to carry out the provisions of the Health Care Authority Act. The secretary shall employ a chief to be administrative head of any such bureau. The chief and all subsidiary employees of the authority shall be covered by the Personnel Act unless otherwise provided by law.
