Section 9-8-10 - [Effective Until 7/1/2024] Bureaus; chiefs

The secretary shall establish within each division such bureaus as the secretary deems necessary to carry out the provisions of the Health Care Authority Department Act. The secretary shall employ a chief to be administrative head of any such bureau. The chief and all subsidiary employees of the department shall be covered by the Personnel Act [Chapter 10, Article 9 NMSA 1978] unless otherwise provided by law.
