§ 47. Regulations—Compliance with regulations; approval by Permit Management Office

On and after the date of effectiveness of the regulations, or amendments thereto, which under the provisions of §§ 43—50 of this title may be adopted by the Permit Management Office, no building shall be constructed, reconstructed, enlarged, modified, repaired, remodeled, transferred or demolished in Puerto Rico, unless such construction, enlargement, modification, reconstruction or demolition is carried out in accordance with the regulations authorized hereby, and which has been expressly authorized and approved by the Permit Management Office.

The Executive Director of the Permit Management Office is hereby authorized to determine the number of copies of the plans and other documents to be submitted for his approval, as well as any other measures regarding the manner of presenting and handling matters.
