§ 2052. Registrars—Appointment; rank and formal address

Property Registrars shall be appointed by the Governor with the consent of the Senate for a term of twelve years until their successors are appointed and shall be in charge of the sections of the Property Registry to which they are designated. Property Registrars have the rank of public officials for all legal purposes and shall be addressed as Honorable in their offices.

The Secretary may assign more than one Registrar to serve in any section, in which case the Administrative Registrar of that section shall be the Registrar with seniority.
