§ 5007. Applications for registration, issuance of certificate, change of address

(a) Every application for the registration of a motor vehicle, trailer or semi-trailer in the Registry, as well as any application for the [issuance] of a certificate of title, shall be made on the form provided for such a purpose by the Secretary. All the information needed for the proper registration or [issuance] of the title of the motor vehicles or trailers pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall be consigned on the form.

(b) Every owner of a registered motor vehicle, trailer or semi-trailer shall be bound to notify the Secretary in writing of any change of address, on the form provided for such purpose by the Secretary, within thirty (30) days following said change. Failure to comply with this subsection shall be deemed an administrative fault, which shall entail a fifty-dollar ($50) fine.
