§ 3534. Providing false information or not providing information

Any persons who by virtue of the provisions of this chapter are under the obligation to report certain facts to the Secretary of Transportation and Public Works or to the Puerto Rico Police and knowingly do not do so or provide false information, or provide information as true having reason to believe that it is false, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction be punished for each omission or act incurred, by imprisonment for a term not to exceed six (6) months, a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500), or a combination of both, at the discretion of the court.
