§ 113. Regulations for tickets and drawings

The number of tickets of each drawing, the value of each ticket, the prizes of each drawing, and the number of drawings to be held in any one month, shall be determined, and the dates on which said drawings are to be held shall be fixed, by the Secretary of the Treasury; Provided, That one or more special drawings shall be held annually, on such dates as may be approved by the Secretary of the Treasury on recommendation of the Director of the Lottery. The amount to be distributed in prizes shall not be less than sixty percent (60%) of the total value to be paid by the public for the tickets corresponding to each drawing. Lottery tickets shall be stamped with the price at which they are to be sold to the public. On the back of each fraction of a ticket shall appear a brief description of the particulars of each drawing, the number of tickets and the prizes corresponding to the drawing, and any other information or limitation provided by §§ 111—127e of this title which the Director of the Lottery and the Secretary of the Treasury may deem advisable.
