Rule 3123 - Debtor's Exemption(a) When a defendant files with the sheriff a claim for exemption, the sheriff shall give to the plaintiff and the defendant at least forty-eight hours notice of the time and place at which an appraisement of the property claimed by the defendant will be made. The parties may be present when the appraisement is made. The sheriff shall make and file his appraisement of the property claimed by the debtor under any exemption law within ten (10) days after such claim is filed and the appraisement shall be confirmed as of course unless exceptions be filed within five days after the expiration of such ten day period.
