Section 10A:72-13.3 - Successful completion of parolee contract agreement; verification
(a) Upon successful completion of the specified components of the parolee contract agreement, the parolee must submit written verification to the assigned parole officer.
(b) Upon receipt of written verification from the parolee that the components of the parolee contract agreement have been successfully completed, the assigned parole officer shall proceed to confirm that the verification provided is accurate, legitimate, and credible.
(c) Upon confirmation that the parolee has successfully completed the specified components of the parolee contract agreement, the parole officer shall:
1. Determine the amended parole supervision termination date based on the specified reduction authorized by the Board panel or Board.
2. Submit the parolee's case to the District Parole Supervisor or designee for review and affirmation.
3. Identify the date 30 days in advance of the anticipated amended parole supervision termination date at which the review specified in 10A:72-13.4(a) shall occur.
(d) If the assigned parole officer or the District Parole Supervisor or designee determines that the written verification submitted by the parolee is not acceptable, the parolee shall be informed accordingly. The parolee shall be given the opportunity to submit acceptable verification that the parolee has successfully completed the components of the parolee contract agreement. Until acceptable verification is submitted, no further review of the parolee's case shall occur.
