Section Saf-C 5605.08 - Accidents(a) Any individual who is involved in a motor vehicle accident, either as an owner, operator or passenger of a vehicle involved in an accident, pedestrian hit by a vehicle, or owner of property damaged by a motor vehicle accident, shall be entitled to obtain a copy of the accident report filed at the division of motor vehicles, so long as all other requirements set forth by law and these rules have been met.(b) For the purposes of this section, if an owner, operator, passenger or any individual or pedestrian died as a result of the motor vehicle accident, an attorney who is admitted to practice in this state and who certifies to the department that s/he represents the decedent's estate or next of kin related to the motor vehicle accident, shall be entitled to receive the accident report once the attorney has completed the certification requirement on DSMV 505.(c) Nothing in this section shall prohibit parties of an accident from transferring personal and insurance information to one another at the scene of the accident.N.H.
