Section Fis 1109.13 - Recognition of Completion of Required Education Courses(a) Pursuant to RSA 214:23-a, no firearm hunting or archery license shall be issued to or be purchased by any person unless the applicant presents to the department or its agent: (1) A certificate of completion of the basic hunter education program offered by the department;(2) A certificate of completion of the basic hunter and archery education program or basic archery hunting program offered in any other state, province, or country, provided that such program includes live field instruction in the handling of firearms or the handling of archery equipment. An "online only" type of educational program shall not be recognized as meeting this requirement; or(3) Documentary proof that the applicant previously held a firearm hunting license or archery license issued by another state, province or country in the form of: a. The actual license document issued to the applicant; orb. A statement in writing issued by the previous licensing authority showing the type of license(s) issued, and the dates that such licenses were held by the applicant.(b) Pursuant to RSA 214:11-b, no trapping license shall be issued to or be purchased by any person unless the applicant presents to the department or its agent: (1) A certificate of completion of the trapper education program offered by the department;(2) A certificate of completion of the trapper education program offered in any other state, province, or country, provided that such program includes live field instruction in the handling of trapping equipment. An "online only" type of educational program shall not be recognized as meeting this requirement; or(3) Documentary proof that the applicant previously held a trapping license in this state during any of the 3 years prior to application for this license.N.H.
