Section 10.44.24.05 - Licensure of Retired Volunteer Dentists and Dental Hygienists
A. A dentist or dental hygienist shall be granted a retired volunteer dentist's or dental hygienist's license if the dentist or dental hygienist:
(1) Meets the qualifications for licensure as a retired volunteer dentist or dental hygienist; and
(2) Is covered by a personal policy of malpractice insurance.
B. A dentist or dental hygienist shall be granted a retired volunteer dentist's or dental hygienist's license that is site-specific to the institution at which the dentist or dental hygienist is to provide the volunteer services if the dentist or dental hygienist:
(1) Meets the qualifications for licensure as a retired volunteer dentist or dental hygienist; and
(2) Is covered with malpractice insurance from or through the institution at which the dentist or dental hygienist is to provide volunteer services.
C. A dentist or dental hygienist who has been granted a site-specific retired volunteer dentist's or dental hygienist's license shall practice dentistry or dental hygiene only at the institution named on the license.
