Rule 21-36.4 - Egg grading or candling area

(1) The egg grading or candling area shall be adequately darkened to make possible the accurate quality determination of the candled appearance of eggs.

(2) Egg-weighing equipment shall be provided, constructed to permit easy cleaning, and capable of ready adjustment.

(3) A candling device with adequate light and capable of accurate determination of Iowa grade standards in rule 21-36.13 (196) shall be maintained in good working order
