Section 355 IAC 5-2-5 - Anchoring bulk and minibulk storage containers

Sec. 5.

(a) Bulk and minibulk storage containers shall be anchored to prevent flotation or instability which might occur as a result of liquid accumulations within secondary containment.

(b) Storage containers shall be considered anchored if the containers:

(1) are placed on a raised area or platform at a height as to prevent flotation or instability in the event of liquid accumulations; or

(2) store product with sufficient volume to rise to at least the height of the secondary containment walls.
