Sec. 138.
"Workover" means the process of performing major maintenance or remedial treatments on a well for oil and gas purposes for the purpose of restoring, prolonging, or enhancing the productivity of the well. Workovers usually involve the use of a special rig set up over the well that is equipped to perform such operations.
