Section 58.01.01.597 - TESTING AND MONITORING REQUIREMENTS

The owner or operator of a GDF must comply with the following requirements within ninety (90) days of registration under Section 598 and every three (3) years thereafter. (3-28-23)

01.Testing. (3-28-23)
a. The owner or operator must demonstrate compliance in accordance with 40 CFR 63.11120(a)(1). (3-28-23)
b. The owner or operator must demonstrate compliance with the static pressure performance requirement, specified in item 1(h) of Table 1 to 40 CFR Part 63 , Subpart CCCCCC, for the vapor balance system by conducting a static pressure test on the underground gasoline storage tanks using the test methods identified in paragraph 597.01.b.i. or 597.01.b.ii. in accordance with 40 CFR 63.11120(a)(2). 02.Alternative Testing. The owner or operator of a GDF, choosing, under the provisions of 40 CFR 63.6(g), to use a vapor balance system other than that described in Table 1 to 40 CFR Part 63 , Subpart CCCCCC, must demonstrate to the Department the equivalency of their vapor balance system to that described in Table 1 to 40 CFR Part 63 , Subpart CCCCCC in accordance with 40 CFR 63.11120(b).
