Section 11-148.1-8 - Coverage amounts(a) All operators of adult foster homes shall obtain and maintain: (1) Liability insurance with respect to their operation of the homes in the amount of $1,000,000 for each occurrence, and $2,000,000 in the aggregate; and(2) Automobile liability insurance, including bodily injury liability coverage for vehicles used to transport adults with I/DD in with at least $100,000 per occurrence, and $300,000 in the aggregate.(b) Each insurance policy required by this chapter shall contain the following clauses: (1) The State of Hawaii and its officers and employees are additional insureds; and(2) It is agreed that any insurance maintained by the State of Hawaii will apply in excess of, and not contribute with, insurance provided by this policy.Haw.
