Section 11-148.1-9 - Proof of insurance(a) All operators of adult foster homes shall provide the department with a copy of a certificate of insurance for the home and for vehicles used to transport adults with I/DD which indicates that the home has obtained and maintained liability insurance which meets the requirements of this chapter on an annual basis.(b) Should the liability insurance coverages be cancelled, limited in scope, or not renewed upon expiration while the adult foster home continues to operate, the operator shall immediately procure replacement insurance that meets the requirements of this chapter and shall promptly provide the department with an updated certificate of insurance.Haw.
