Section 17a-227-33 - Contracting procedure(a) The regional office will review the application, and other such materials which may be required to accompany the application for completeness and accuracy. The regional office will provide technical assistance to the applicant upon request to complete the application package.(b) The regional director or his designee will approve or deny the application.(c) Upon regional approval of the application, the department will enter into a contract with the applicant to provide residential support services. The contract shall be for a term of up to one fiscal year and may be renewed in accordance with Sec. 17a-227-32 of these regulations. All contracts are conditional upon compliance with these regulations.(d) Upon execution of the contract, the contractor shall provide the residential support services identified in the contract. The contract shall describe the services to be provided, the frequency and duration of those services and the amount to be paid to the contractor for provision of such services.(e) The regional office shall conduct an annual performance review of the contract to determine client needs, eligibility for renewal and contractor efficiency and effectiveness.Conn.
