Section 17a-227-34 - Contract cancellation(a) The contract may be terminated without cause upon 30 days written notice by either party during the term of the contract. The department has the right to terminate the contract within 24 hours notice when it deems the health or welfare of the service recipient(s) is endangered.(b) Contracts are subject to contractor compliance with all applicable department policies related to human rights, overall plans of service, freedom from abuse or neglect, use of restraints and psychotropic medications or other policies. As such, the contract may be cancelled, terminated or suspended for violation or non-compliance with such policies.Conn. Agencies Regs. § 17a-227-34
