Subsection 314.7

Revise and replace section R314.7.4 Combination detectors as follows:

R314.7.4Combination detectors. Combination smoke and carbon monoxide detectors shall be permitted to be installed in fire alarm systems in lieu of smoke detectors, provided that they are listed in accordance with UL 268 and UL 2075. The fire alarm control panel battery shall serve as the source of secondary power for wireless systems.
