Subsection 314.5

Revise and replace section R314.5 as follows:

R314.5Combination Alarms. Combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms shall be permitted to be used in lieu of smoke alarms and shall be interconnected such that fire alarms have precedence over carbon monoxide alarms in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 72.

Delete Exception #2 in section R314.6 Power source.
