Section 53E-3-918 - Article XVII - Severability - Construction(1) The provisions of this compact shall be severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, or provision is considered unenforceable, the remaining provisions of the compact shall be enforceable.(2) The provisions of this compact shall be liberally construed to effectuate its purposes.(3) Nothing in this compact shall be construed to prohibit the applicability of other interstate compacts to which the states are members.Renumbered from § 53A-1-1017 by Chapter 1, 2018 General Session ,§ 76, eff. 1/24/2018.Added by Chapter 278, 2017 General Session ,§ 18, eff. 5/9/2017.
