Section 1101.502 - Eligibility Requirements For Certificate(a) To be eligible to receive a certificate of registration or a renewal certificate under this subchapter, a person must: (1) be, at the time of application: (A) at least 18 years of age; and (B) a citizen of the United States or a lawfully admitted alien; and (2) successfully complete the required courses of study prescribed by this subchapter, including qualifying or continuing education requirements. (b) To be eligible to receive a certificate of registration or a renewal certificate under this subchapter, a business entity must designate as its agent one of its managing officers who is registered under this subchapter.Tex.
