Section 30.00136 - Continuation of Municipal Court of Appeals(a) The El Paso Municipal Court of Appeals continues in existence as long as a municipal court of record exists in the city.(b) If the municipal court of record ordinance is repealed, the appellate court continues in existence as long as there are appeals before it. A reversal and remand for new trial or other order returning a case to the trial court shall be to the municipal court that replaces the municipal courts of record.Tex. Gov't. Code § 30.00136
