Section 73.152 - Scope; Degree Programs; Rules and Regulations(a) The board of regents may prescribe courses and conduct graduate and postdoctoral programs at the master's and doctoral levels in the sciences and other academic areas directly related to medical education and research, but the board shall not operate this institution as a general academic graduate school. The degree programs to be offered by the graduate school are subject to approval by the Coordinating Board, Texas College and University System.(b) The board of regents may make rules and regulations necessary for the operation, control, and management of the graduate school.
