Section 144.124 - Improperly Recording Brand(a) A person commits an offense if, as county clerk, the person records a brand for which the person recording the brand fails to designate the part of the animal on which the brand is to be placed.(b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $50.Tex.
