Section 58-33-135 - [Effective Until 1/1/2025] Unfair or deceptive practices by pharmacy benefits managerThe following acts or practices by a pharmacy benefits manager are declared to be false, misleading, deceptive, or unfair:
(1) Prohibiting a pharmacist or pharmacy for providing cost-sharing information on the amount that a covered individual may pay for a particular prescription drug by a pharmacist or pharmacy; or(2) Penalizing a pharmacist or pharmacy for providing cost-sharing information on the amount that a covered individual may pay for a particular prescription drug by a pharmacist or pharmacy.Added by S.L. 2018, ch. 281,s. 2, eff. 7/1/2018.This section is set out more than once due to postponed, multiple, or conflicting amendments.
