Section 23850 - Transfer of existing facilities or funds and the making of annual grants to authorityA. Any municipality or owner may and they are hereby authorized to sell, lease, lend, grant, convey, transfer or pay over to any Authority, with or without consideration, any project or any part or parts thereof, or any interest in real or personal property, or any funds available for building, construction or improvement purposes, including the proceeds of bonds previously or hereafter issued for building, construction or improvement purposes, which may be used by the Authority in the construction, improvement, maintenance or operation of any project, and any municipality is hereby empowered to issue general obligation bonds for the purpose of providing funds for the building, construction or improvement of a public auditorium and transferring said funds to an Authority created under this act. B. Any municipality may and it is hereby authorized to make annual grants from current revenues to the Authority to assist in defraying the costs of operation, maintenance and debt service of the project and to enter into long term agreements providing for the payment of the same.1953, July 29, P.L. 1034, § 10.
