Section 3222 - Criminal penalties(a) Any person who willfully and knowingly violates any provision of this act, or any rule or order under this act, shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $10,000 or to imprisonment for not more than two years or both, for each violation.(b) The commissioner may refer such evidence as is available concerning violations of this act or of any rule or order hereunder to the Attorney General or the proper county attorney who may, with or without such a reference, institute the appropriate criminal proceedings under this act.(c) Nothing in this act limits the power of the State to punish any person for any conduct which constitutes a crime under any other statute.1984, June 18, P.L. 391, No. 82, § 22, effective in 6 months.
