Section 1331.13 - Powers of department(a) Enforcement and regulation.--The department shall enforce this act and is empowered to promulgate and enforce regulations to implement this act. The regulations may be based upon generally accepted national or international engineering standards, formulas and practices established and pertaining to boiler and unfired pressure vessel construction insofar as they are consistent with this act.(b) Interim regulations.--The department shall use the current regulations under 34 Pa. Code Ch. 3a (relating to boiler and unfired pressure vessel regulations) until new regulations are promulgated and published as final rule in the Pennsylvania Bulletin and become effective, unless otherwise specified in this act.Added by P.L. 1149 2013 No. 104, § 3, eff. 5/26/2014.
