Section 73-7-12 - [Effective Until 1/1/2025] Examinations

Effective January 1, 2020, the State Board of Cosmetology shall terminate its student testing contract with proper notice and shall conduct examinations for cosmetologists, estheticians, manicurists and instructors at such times and locations as determined by the board. The members of the board shall not personally administer or monitor the examinations, but the board shall contract for administrators of the examinations. A member of the board shall not receive any per diem compensation for any day that the member is present at the site where the examinations are being administered.
