The board shall conduct examinations for cosmetologists, barbers, estheticians, nail technicians and instructors at such times and locations as determined by the board. The members of the board shall not personally administer or monitor the examinations, but the board shall contract for administrators of the examinations. A member of the board shall not receive any per diem compensation for any day that the member is present at the location(s) where the examinations are being administered.
