Section 65-3-71.48 - "Veterans Memorial Highway" designated(1) That portion of U.S. Highway 61 located in Adams County beginning at the corporate limits of the City of Natchez and extending northerly to the community of Washington, a distance of approximately three and two-tenths (3.2) miles, is hereby designated as "Veterans Memorial Highway."(2) The Mississippi Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain appropriate signs along and approaching the segment of highway designated in subsection (1) of this section.
