Section 56:3001 - [Effective Until 8/1/2024] Recreational fishing licenses; fees

A. Resident licenses:

(1) Hook and line license (allows using a pole, hook and line, without a reel and without using artificial bait, dip nets, landing nets, minnow traps, crab nets, or crab lines)	$5.00/year
(2) Basic fishing license (includes all legal recreational freshwater gear)	$17.00/year
(3) Saltwater fishing license (includes all legal recreational saltwater gear)	$15.00/year
(4) Charter three-day saltwater fishing license	$20.00
(5) Charter three-day freshwater fishing license	$10.00

B. Nonresident licenses:

(1) Basic fishing license (includes all legal recreational freshwater gear)	$68.00/year
(2) Saltwater fishing license (includes all legal recreational saltwater gear)	$60.00/year
(3) Five-day basic fishing (includes all legal freshwater recreational gear)	$30.00
(4) Five-day saltwater fishing (includes all legal saltwater recreational gear)	$30.00
(5) Charter boat three-day saltwater fishing license	$20.00
(6) Charter boat three-day freshwater fishing license	$10.00
