Section 22:1274 - Prohibited policy provisionA. An insurer shall not include a provision in any policy of property insurance that prohibits an insured from hiring a public adjuster for services provided pursuant to the provisions of this Title.B. Subsection A of this Section does not apply to commercial insurance policies written by any surplus lines insurer as defined in R.S. 22:46.
