§ 752. Government centers occupied by municipalities and Commonwealth

(a) Those buildings such as municipal government centers, which have been constructed from Commonwealth funds and are occupied by offices of the Commonwealth and municipal governments, shall be the property of the Commonwealth government.

(b) None of the offices occupied by the Commonwealth or municipal government shall pay any kind of rent whatsoever.

(c) Maintenance and repair costs shall be defrayed from Commonwealth funds, and the expenses of janitorial and other common services shall be paid from Commonwealth and municipal funds. The Commonwealth government shall contribute a fair share of said expenses, as may be determined annually prior to each fiscal year.

(d) Space distribution at Government Centers shall adhere strictly to the project submitted to the consideration of the Puerto Rico Planning Board and approved by it. In case any changes should become necessary, in the light of unforeseen situations, the same shall be made by mutual agreement between the Department of Transportation and Public Works and the corresponding municipality. Should there be any discrepancy between the two, then the case shall be submitted to the Puerto Rico Planning Board for final decision.
