The Secretary of Transportation and Public Works is hereby authorized and vested with the necessary powers to take the required steps for conveying to the muncipalities those buildings heretofore or hereafter constructed from Commonwealth funds, exclusively for municipal uses. The maintenance and repair of the buildings so transferred shall devolve upon the municipalities.
