After the list and maps have been filed with the Secretary of the Treasury, the Authority shall forward a copy of such list and maps to the mayor of each of the municipalities of Cabo Rojo, Lajas, San Germán, Sabana Grande, Guanica, Yauco, Ponce, Mayagüez, and shall advertise for six (6) consecutive days, in at least one daily newspaper of general circulation in Puerto Rico, the fact that the list and maps of the Irrigation District are in the Office of the Secretary of the Treasury and in the office of the mayor of each one of the aforementioned municipalities, where the same shall be open to inspection by the public.
