In addition to the primary standards, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall provide the Division of Weights and Measures with copies of said standards which shall be kept in the said Division and shall be known as “office standards”. There shall also be provided the weights and measures and all such equipment necessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter, which shall be known as “working standards”. The office standards shall only be used to verify the working standards. Both the office standards and the working standards shall be verified and certified as correct at least once a year.
