§ 43a. Regulations—Adoption of standards

Any standards on the quality of construction materials, on the best and latest engineering practices accepted or related to acceptable methods of testing the durability or resistance of materials, parts or assemblies to stress or fire; and electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire prevention, hurricane-wind resistance, refrigeration, elevator and escalator codes, may be adopted as supplements to the regulations authorized in § 43 of this title whether they are written in Spanish or English.
