When the owner, titleholder, or interested party fails to appear in any manner whatsoever to challenge the classification of the property as a public nuisance, the municipality may then declare the property a public nuisance within thirty (30) days after the service of notice provided in § 995b of this title is issued.
If an owner, titleholder, or interested party is served, as provided in § 995b of this title, with an order issued in accordance with the provisions of subsections (b) or (c) of § 995c of this title, and fails to comply with such order within a term of six (6) months from the service of an order or within the terms of any extensions granted, the Municipality may declare the property a public nuisance.
