(1) Every funeral home shall provide public restrooms divided by gender, located outside the preparation or embalming area and outside the chapel or viewing area.
(2) In order to engage in the embalming process, the funeral home shall have an embalming room that meets the following requirements:
(a) To be located outside the chapel or viewing area.
(b) To be air conditioned or, in its default, have proper ventilation.
(c) To have a biomedical waste disposal system.
(d) To have a marble or stainless steel table, or a table made of a similarly efficient material.
(e) To have proper protection against insects and other bugs.
(f) To have available hot and cold drinking water.
(g) To have proper lighting for the embalming process.
Any funeral home may operate a cafeteria or provide an area for the consumption of coffee, or to offer refreshments, or snacks, provided, it has the adequate space and the pertinent licenses and authorizations to offer said services.
