Any person who renders any type of services at a funeral home shall be responsible for taking the following precautionary measures:
(1) To use protective gear or materials when preparing or having any direct contact with the human remains or any of the fluids, secretions, or excretions thereof. This shall include, but not be limited to gloves, protective gown, mask, caps, shoe covers, and protective sleeves with elastic cuffs.
(2) To refrain from having any contact with human remains or any fluids, excretions, or secretions thereof if such person has any cuts or open wounds.
(3) To wash hands with water and antibacterial soap before and after working with human remains.
(4) To notify immediately the person in charge of the funeral home of any signs of decomposition when working with human remains.
