P.R. Laws tit. 24, § 950a
For purposes of §§ 950a—950d of this title, the following prohibitions are hereby established:
(a) No person shall place, or allow to be placed, any commercial advertisement, sign or announcement of products made with Ma huang, guaraná, kola nut, chromium picolinate and sacred bark, found in weight loss products, sexual stimulants or in muscle building products, at a distance of less than five hundred (500) feet from any public or private school. Said distance shall be measured from the closest external delimitation of the premises occupied by the school up to the location in which the commercial advertisement, sign or announcement is placed.
(b) No person shall use movie theaters, theaters or public parks for the commercial publicity or promotion of Ma huang, guaraná, kola nut, chromium picolinate and sacred bark, found in weight loss products, sexual stimulants or muscle building products. For purposes of §§ 950a—950d of this title, public parks shall be all coliseums, ballparks, gymnasiums, basketball courts and passive parks owned by the Commonwealth Government, municipal governments, their instrumentalities, corporations, agencies and dependencies.
(c) No person shall distribute free samples of Ma huang , guaraná , kola nut, chromium picolinate and sacred bark, found in weight loss products, sexual stimulants or muscle products:
(1) To minors less than eighteen (18) years of age.
(2) In places in which, due to activities held therein, minors of less than eighteen (18) years of age are present.
(3) At a distance of less than five hundred (500) feet from any public or private school, it being understood that said distance shall be measured from the closest external delimitation of the premises occupied by the school.
