Every pharmaceutical establishment shall:
(a) Not later than thirty (30) days from the date of the effectiveness of this act, prepare an inventory of the barbiturates and of the dangerous drugs in its possession, specifying the name of the barbiturate and of the dangerous drug and the corresponding quantity. This inventory shall be kept for a period of not less than two (2) years reckoning from the date it is prepared.
(b) Withhold and keep each and every one of the invoices or other records showing the kind and amount of barbiturates or dangerous drugs which have been bought or otherwise obtained, indicating the date, name and address of the distributor or person from whom such barbiturates or dangerous drugs have been bought or obtained.
(c) Withhold and keep each and every one of the invoices or other records showing the kind and amount of dangerous drugs or barbiturates sold or distributed by said pharmaceutical establishments, excluding the vouchers relative to the sale or distribution of said dangerous drugs or barbiturates through a medicine order or prescription.
(d) The vouchers or records covered by subsections (b) and (c) of this section shall be kept for a period of not less than two (2) years, reckoning from the date shown on said vouchers.
(e) Withhold and keep all medical prescriptions or orders on which dangerous drugs and barbiturates covered by §§ 930—949 of this title have been dispensed or sold, for a period of not less than two (2) years reckoning from the date on which the last medical order or prescription was filled or repeated.
(f) At least thirty (30) days before the effective date of this act, the Secretary of Health shall prepare and supply to all pharmaceutical establishments a complete formulary containing the names of the barbiturates and dangerous drugs subject to the inventory referred to in subsection (a) of this section. Said formulary shall contain sufficient blank space in order that the result of the inventory may be noted therein.
