§ 203r. Penalty for not recertifying

Every person authorized to practice nursing who has not recertified his license must pay the sum of ten dollars ($10) as penalty, besides the corresponding fee, through a bank or postal money order or certified check drawn to the order of the Secretary of the Treasury of Puerto Rico. The funds thus collected shall be covered into the Health Fund for the exclusive use of the Board of Female and Male Nurse Examiners. Any person who continues to practice nursing after the effective date of this act without having met the requirements of registering as indicated by law for such purposes, shall be deemed to be practicing illegally and shall be subject to the penalties provided for such purposes.
